Statement of Assets and Liabilities.

Store Accounts.

The unsatisfactory condition of the Store

Accounts of the Public Works Department, referred to in

paragraph 10 of the Local Auditor's report, has heen

brought to the attention of the Governor, and I am informed

that he has given directions for a complete stock-taking

and general re-arrangement of the Store, to be made in

November and December, 1894.
